Extra-curricular Activities
Alright well, I have to admit that I am no longer with that guy in my previous posts. I was really heartbroken but I also broke his heart. I felt really bad and I'm sure I made him feel the same. I just hope that one day he will forgive me like I have forgiven him.
Other than that, I started attending karate classes. Well, it really isn't just karate. It is called KAJUKENBO. If you know nothing about it, I suggest you look it up. It is really amazing and fun. I did get into an argument with the instructor that I was going with. Why? Because he isn't a good person. He may seem like he was but that was just a show he put for the parents that waited for their children on the seats.
Work
I have graduated! Well, since I have not updated in quite a while, I actually graduated about a year ago. Since graduation, I have started working at different locations. I started working in an office as a contract worker, and though I didn't like that, I still did my job.
I also started working at a restaurant as a server. I have to admit, at first I was a little embarrassed that I was working there. Not because the restaurant was a bad place or had a bad reputation. No, it was because I became another statistic. You know, that statistic that says that many recent graduates don't land a job in their degree. Well, that was me, and I felt bad about it.
Eventually, I did get hired as a full-time employee at the office and now work weekends at the restaurant. I am not making much but it is better than nothing. I also like the feeling I get when I let my mom sleep in. She no longer has to work two jobs and I am proud to help her out. It was what I wanted since I was young. I just wanted to make my parent's life a little bit easier. I started making the payments for the truck and that is almost $400 she doesn't need to worry about.
I still dream of becoming a language translator. I need my certification and hopefully an office that I can call my own with other translators that would like to help me as well.
Those are the only updates I will give for now. I hope I can be writing a bit more so I won't forget what I learned in college.
Unnimoon, signing out!
